Limited Warranty and Returns - Terms and Conditions|
SATA Computer warrants product(s) to be in good working condition and free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of Sixty (30) days for components and Ninety (90) days for Sata Systems from the original date of invoice unless retricted by the manufacturer's own warranty policy.
SATA Computer will give an extended warranty on product(s) if, and only if, the invoice has the extended warranty option added to it. SATA computer's extended warranty conditions are the same as the limited warranty for a period of one year, or otherwise stated, from the original date of invoice unless restricted by manufacturer's own warranty policy.
Warranty - Terms and Conditions
SATA Computers's liability is limited to replacing or repairing, as its option, any defective product which is returned, according to the Return Merchandize Authorization Procedure (RMA). Buyer shall bear all responsibility and risk of loss or damage during transit to SATA Computer. Products which have been misused, abused, altered, or subjected to unauthorized repair or improper installation, as determined by SATA Computer, will NOT be covered by this warranty. Anything listed above shall be considered a waiver of this warranty by the Buyer and shall render this warranty null and void.
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. SATA COMPUTER MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. IN NO EVENT SHALL SATA COMPUTER BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES SUCH AS LOSS OF PROFITS OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, AND IN NO EVENT SHALL SATA COMPUTER'S LIABILITY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT(S).
Return Merchandize Authorization Procedure (RMA)
"Return Merchandise Authorization" (RMA) numbers will only be given when the buyer has:
Provided the invoice number, date of purchase, serial number(s), and problem descriptions of item(s).
Once the RMA is given, the number is only valid for 5 days for the customer to return. After the expiry date, the RMA number is closed and becomes invalid. An application for a new RMA number is required thereafter.
SATA computer will return certain products for in-store credit under ther following terms and conditions:
It has been no more than Seven (7) days from invoice date.
The product and packaging are both in re-sellable condition, and have never been used.
All contents of the product must be return in full at the time of return; otherwise SATA Computer, at its sole discretion, will deduct amount of the missing contents from the credit or will refuse the return. The deducted amount is solely defined by SATA Computer.
A restocking fee of 25% for all return items (taken off from the credit).
Any return may be refused at SATA Computer's sole discretion.
Some items, if opened, will not be covered by this return policy. Items not covered include opened OEM products, software from manufacturer and opened products of certain manufacturers which are subjected to the manufacturers' return and warranty coverage.
THIS RETURN POLICY IS NOT A WARRANTY. SATA COMPUTER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE OR CANCEL IT AT ANY TIME.
